when i downloaded this scene from the brazzers site the day it was published, the top comment on the page read, in its entirety, "gross".
i can't say for certain what that anonymous user was referring to, although given the tenor of many of the other comments it's a pretty safe bet that it was another fatphobic rejection of sofia rose in her first girl/girl scene for the site. she debuted on brazzers in 2019 (after thirteen years of being one of the top bbw performers in the industry), and like all plus-size women has been controversial among the tiny portion of the subscriber base that comments; but her scenes have apparently been doing well enough that she keeps getting rebooked: of course, engagement is a value-neutral metric.
but that anonymous user could also have been referring to the way the scene ends, which is with a plastic dildo squirting buckets of fake jizz onto vina sky's face. in which case (to let my preferences affect these reviews once more) i would be in full agreement: one of the reasons i only watch girl/girl is that i dislike pop shots whether real or manufactured. that ending is emblematic of my conflicted feelings about this scene. on the one hand, holy shit sofia rose in a mainstream girl/girl scene, that's awesome! on the other hand, almost none of the actual action does anything for me.
part of it is just the hot and mean remit: masturbating landlady sofia catches tenant vina sneaking around her bedroom in search of a sex toy, and "punishes" her by having dominant sex. sure, fine: it's extremely tired to have the older bigger woman dominate the younger pocket-sized one, but whatever. but almost everything that follows the intro, from a drawn-out pantyhose-clad foot-worship sequence to multiple uses of sex toys on vina in awkward, ungainly positions, was, to be polite, catering to other people's fetishes. vina's eager submission was lovely (she has an amazing smile), and the few moments that sofia allowed her to reciprocate and show off her sexual energy were the highlights of the scene for me; but the domination-by-numbers tone of the scene left me unable to fully get into it.
the camerawork didn't help. dull, badly composed, leaving the interesting action out of frame, unflattering to both sofia and vina, the slipshod production turned a merely okay scene into an actively unpleasant one. make no mistake: i still love both sofia rose and vina sky and will watch any girl/girl either of them do. the bankrupt scenario and lazy production were not their fault. and i still hold out hope for better plus-size girl/girl from brazzers: i know they can do it (maserati's occasional scenes are almost always great), and now that sofia rose has started doing girl/girl on brazzers i hope that karla lane, who also debuted on the site last year, is next.
