i've been looking forward to this scene since it first popped up in adult time's upcoming tab for one primary reason. well, okay, two reasons. first is nia nacci, one of the most appealing young women in porn; but second, the color palette here is so much richer and interesting to look at than girlsway's usual offerings that it would have caught my eye no matter who was featured.
sure, some of that is the set: the lavender walls, blue felt pool table, and dark woods soak up color better than some of the duller white rooms. but it also has a lot to do with the specific post-processing used by the editor. i've only noticed the name of gamma editor canchis canchis on transfixed episodes before, and that brand's high-fashion aesthetic fits in well with the dark shadows and lush colors here. there's even a touch of grain to the image, giving it more texture and life than the dull digital gloss of the usual girlsway setup.
unfortunately, the actual scene doesn't live up to how good it looks. as charming as she is, nia nacci is no improviser, so the initial setup is blank and incoherent; i had to read the description on the website in order to make sense of what either of them were trying to accomplish in the "scripted" portion of the scene. once the sex begins, they almost entirely drop the scenario until the closing moments of the scene, which is something of a relief: both women are proficient at girl/girl sex on camera, and seem to enjoy each other excellently.
still, it's an indication of just how much i prize visual depth and beauty that even an only okay scene like this one gets such a relatively high score out of me.
