i'm working towards a big blowout analysis of all the girl/girl content i've looked at over the course of 2021, but before i get there i thought i'd drop a few words about this scene, the one i'm choosing to write about for december.
first, a caveat: i didn't know that alan x (formerly stills by alan, under the alias of his third site post-girlsway, lesbiansexuality.com) was involved with this until i'd paid ember's $19.99 asking price, downloaded the video, and saw the opening credits. if individual models want to hire a predator to film their content, that's their business, and i expect that after manyvids' substantial cut, my jackson goes to ember; but the "produced in association with" credit makes me wonder if there's more than mere content sharing going on. lesbiansexuality.com right now is nothing but an old copy of the sheseducedme.com homepage, and i note that recent she seduced me content has also started to be uploaded to manyvids, with the proceeds presumably going to alan; if the promo on the current s.s.m. site is still to be believed, the performers also get copies of each video to monetize as they wish. the lesbian sexuality twitter presence suggests a similar approach, but perhaps with a softer "erotica" focus rather than the fauxcest-and-squirting scenario-forward content he built his brand on.
this scene is certainly light on narrative: the intro is just ember and michelle on an afternoon hike in the mountains surrounding the san fernando valley, intercut (in a very cheesy mid-2000s music-video way) with flashes of their later activity. ember, a veteran performer, wears a full face of porn makeup, while michelle (who is new to me, and extremely cute) sports a more natural look, so there's an interestingly queasy subtext to the vague seduction that plays out, but it's no more than subtext; not a word is spoken on screen until well into the foreplay, as ember instructs michelle on how she wants to be touched.
the actual sex is, unsurprisingly for alan, in one of the most awkward places possible: on a boulder overlooking the valley. they are at least allowed the dignity of a blanket to lie on once they get into horizontal positions, but the bulk of my admiration for the first half of the sex was for michelle's limberness; my back still hurts thinking about the tribbing sequence. ember is an experienced performer with a reputation in girl/girl to uphold; her communication (or performance, as you choose) of sexual pleasure was masterful and thrilling. michelle was plainly a novice, giggly and perhaps a little shy, but certainly gave every indication of enjoying herself.
the cinematography, as might be expected from the ad-hoc nature of the set, was variable. the sunlight was so direct as to cause glare early on in the scene, while the end was full of gorgeous magic-hour tones; depending on the camera angle, both women looked washed out, golden brown, or both if the glare was in effect. there were still some astonishing shots: the cunnilingus from beneath with rich blue sky in the frame was particularly impressive. and then a few times the camera operators' shadows could be seen, a necessary evil given the only real angle they could shoot from.
on balance, i enjoyed the scene. ember is always a good time, and i'll be interested to follow michelle's girl/girl career, if any. will it tempt me to join lesbian sexuality, any more than i was tempted to join she seduced me? no, i'm done giving money to alan. but i might buy the occasional scene from a performer i enjoy, especially if she's a woman of color.
