i wanted to point out some of the time i've spent with what you might call third-world porn this year. brazil is probably the fourth largest porn production market after the u.s., europe, and japan, and there are a half-dozen brazilian sites that offer enough girl/girl to be worth glancing at every so often, at least for someone with my interest in racial, ethnic and physical diversity. lesworship.com, part of a megasite of low-rent brazilian brands distributed to the vod market as hot hot films, is towards the lower end in terms of production value: the same handful of rooms decorated exactly the same show up in every video, the lighting and composition is disgraceful, and there's no sound proofing so you can hear the busy-ness of other establishments in the same building.
on the plus side, this is the only site that can boast an appearance from a performer billing herself as fernanda chocolate, the strikingly muscular dark black woman here, whose skin tones are done no favors by the sickly lighting but who remains arresting and fascinating even though she never even uncovers her breasts. her partner, agatha ferrari, is much less self-assured, which means that fernanda dominates her slightly, more verbally than sexually. not that it's the most thrilling performance in any case: both women have the awkwardness of people unpracticed in performing sex, and fernanda's endlessly murmured refrain of "gostosa" (literally tasty, but by analogy sexy) gets tiresome quickly.
this is the only failing grade i've given since april 2019, when i wrote about everything and not just what i was interested in, and it's not entirely fair: better lighting, camera work, sound, and choreography could have set these women up for success. but it's also worth noting here as an indication of the deficit from which pornographers in the global south are starting out; they have financial hurdles to overcome that even the most cut-rate studio in the u.s. can take for granted. i'd love see fernanda chocolate with a more engaged partner and more sympathetic production; until then, this rough shambles of a scene will have to do.
