the opening narrative is delectable in its elliptical storytelling: violet is a secretary delivering a quarterly report in a bondage position to corporate chief vicki, who vibrates an egg in herself to stave off the boredom of the reports. finally, violet demands that vicki either put up or shut up with all the sensual tanalizing she's been doing, and vicki takes languorous sexual control of her employee, with an extensive foreplay sequence in the office set that remains one of slayed's longest stretches before cutting to the comfortable bed where the bulk of the action always takes place.
the actual sex is much less strictly bdsm than the intro would suggest: violet ends up taking charge more often, although they switch around often enough that it's merely reciprocal. but the sex is effective and extensive regardless: the full scene is nearly an hour long, because they take their time, even resting briefly between rounds. if some of the activities are a little less believeable than others, it's no matter: they deliver so well on their performances of enjoyment that who am i to call them liars — this may be the first time that i've seen so-called "dovefucking" (breast-to-pudenda contact) enjoyed in a scene where it wasn't the fetish being marketed.
vicki's seniority is more obvious in the nonsex portion: she's wholly comfortable as the slinky boss tantalizing her subordinate, while violet's recitation of her script is wooden and awkward. but violet comes into her own during the sex, where her improvised dirty talk is much more natural-sounding, presumably because she actually means it. the high definition camera work means that as the sex goes on, dermatological irregularities are more evident due to sweat and friction; but it would be a churl who would take points off for not pausing in the middle of sex for a makeup retouch.
