since returning from a pandemic hiatus, twistys has committed to its one-scene-every-saturday schedule, one of which per month is a "treat of the month" solo, which leaves a total of 40 girl/girl scenes per year. which sounds like a lot, but the same site released 128 girl/girl scenes in 2018, and it wasn't even an exclusively girl/girl site then.

so i'm rather less than spoiled for choice when it came to picking a twistys scene to write about. the best ones are generally the treat of the month showcases, since they have more of a budget and sometimes even a theme (not to mention they're the one scene holly randall shoots a month); but relatively few of them caught my attention this year, or they conflicted with something else i wanted to cover, or it would have doubled up on a performer. so by process of elimination i arrived here: a cute, forgettable fillip of a scene in which amari anne and lacy lennon, dressing as high-contrast angels for some vague party, shyly compliment each other and then start making out.

i mainly wanted to celebrate amari anne, who i haven't had occasion to praise in these pages before. an adorable young black woman with remarkable nipples and the facial beauty and body type made for glamour porn (if there were any us-based glamour sites left), she is woefully underutilized by the industry, and often bulldozed by the stronger personalities in a scene. lacy lennon is definitely the stronger personality here, although her active encouragement of amari was up to her high standard of professionalism.

the intro was barely there, and the sex was mindgeek's usual overactive, visuals-first fare, although both women gave every appearance of enjoying themselves; the camerawork was twistys' usual sterile, polite photography; the editing was rather closer to the bone than usual, indicating either more directorial commentary that had to be cut out than normal or simply a lack of patience with the longeurs of position-switching. i still enjoyed myself, because amari is a delight to look at and lacy knows what she's doing, but everyone involved has done (and i hope to see do in the future) more meaningful work than this.
