one of the sites i cut out of my subscriptions over the summer because it wasn't releasing enough girl/girl to justify the expense was sexart, a brand i've generally had quite a lot of time for. (i don't doubt i'll be back; but for now buying individual scenes when one that interests me comes up is still cheaper.) but before that, this little gem was released, which i didn't pay much attention to at the time. but when looking over the release schedule all year, i gave it a second glance, and i'm glad i did.

czech purr simona (a.k.a. simona purr on some other sites) is new to me, and not particularly impressive; european producers casting for the slavic-innocence look aren't my favorite. venezuelan agatha vega, on the other hand, has deeply impressed me with her body of girl/girl work, and her 2022 remained fascinating. this disconnect between my evaluations of them also plays out in the film itself (which is almost worthy of being called a film), as they discuss over a dinner date the different kinds of sex they like to have — and lupin repeatedly cuts away throughout the conversation to them having two very different kinds of sex.

simona's cutaways are all gentle lovemaking in a haze of natural light and white linens, the kind of dewy innocence that european girl/girl fans especially can't get enough of; while agatha's cutaways are of two grown women in decadent lingerie in a tastefully dark room having more aggressive (though still quite polite, because this is sexart) sex; she rides simona's face gloriously.

the unusual structure of this scene endeared it to me as soon as i realized that that's what was happening: although it's less than a half-hour in length, there are three different shooting locations (and wardrobe, etc.), with more of a narrative throughline than there is in 90% of sexart scenes. i can't say it was entirely successful — simona's weakness as a performer, the broken english they conversed in, and some jarring transitions between conversation and sex all hurt it — but i'll take an ambitious failure over a rote success any day, and this is far from being an outright failure. andrej lupin's gorgeous camera work can cover a multitude of sins.
