so sheila making her way to the marketed-to-women side of the industry has been a surprising, if welcome, development. later in 2022, she appeared in xconfessions' witch! as part of a five-woman orgy, and started seriously including girl/girl on her onlyfans. but this brief sequence, not quite twenty minutes long, was her best showcase.
the premise is slight: sheila is a writer trying to compose the setup to an erotic scene between two women, but keeps having trouble finding the right words. finally she leans back in her chair to think, and lands on a bed. when she opens her eyes, her protagonist, anneke necro, has joined her on the bed. "i'm your inspiration," she says, and goes in for a kiss. (actually, she says "soy tu inspiración," because the whole thing is in spanish, but hey i speak spanish.)
the stunt casting of sheila, whose very traditional pornstar look includes big fake tits, long acrylic nails, lip filler and a tan which isn't entirely attributable to her heritage, as the writer and anneke, a pale, tattooed, dyed-hair spanish alternagoth with regular-woman features, as the fantasy is entirely contrary to the expected roles for either woman, but it ends up making for an oddly wholesome scene, since the pornstar can focus on the performance of pleasure and the alt-porn performer can be the one to demonstrate actual technique.
i will note that it was my adult time subscription that first alerted me to this scene, since it showed up in my feed as part of their content-sharing strategy. chalk up another win for bree mills, i guess; although more for adult time's curatorial role than for its production one, which despite occasional flashes of ambition continues to be stuck in a post-covid holding pattern. (and since this is being written long after the fact, the curatorial role has gone downhill since too.) i'm still grateful that i was able to see it.
but the bulk of that gratitude, of course, goes to sheila, anneke, and the producing team of adrian mur and irina vega, who show up in a little behind-the-scenes at the end of the clip. it's strikingly well made for only involving four (credited) people, and i would love to see more from these minds.
